Sage craftsman exterior — Greenville

Craftsman exteriors have character — and the character lives in the details. Decorative brackets, deep porch overhangs, exposed rafter tails, and chunky columns make the difference between a flat-looking repaint and one that pops. We approach craftsman homes assuming everything visible from the street gets hand-brushed.

Customer wanted a warm sage-green that worked with the dark roof and stone foundation accents. We brought three sample boards to the consult — viewed at morning, midday, and golden-hour light — and they landed on a slightly muted sage that read warm without going olive.

Siding went sprayed-and-rolled in two coats of Sherwin-Williams Duration. Every column, bracket, rafter tail, and post got hand-brushed in Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel. The door and door surround got a hand-brushed semi-gloss in a deeper accent green for contrast at the entry.

Six days, finished on schedule. The detail work shows — at the curb you notice the brackets first. That's a craftsman done right.
